The sera PO4-Test allows you to easily monitor the phosphate levels in both freshwater and marine aquariums. Phosphates can enter the water from fish waste or feeding, and while plants absorb some phosphate as a nutrient, excess phosphate promotes unwanted algae growth. This test kit provides a quick and accurate reading of current phosphate levels, helping you manage and maintain a healthy aquarium. If phosphate levels are high, excess phosphate can be removed using sera Phosvec-clear (for freshwater), sera Phosvec Granulat (for both freshwater and marine), or sera Pond Phosvec (for ponds).
