Exotic Nutrition's Chinchilla Diet with Rose Hips combines freshly harvested timothy and alfalfa hay pellets with dried rose hips rich in Vitamin C to support a wholesale balanced diet. In addition to Vitamin C, rose hips contain high levels of polyphenols, Vitamins A and E, and high levels of fiber to help strengthen and protect the pet's immune system. This all-natural food is professionally formulated to meet the nutritional needs for growth and development in juvenile to adult chinchillas.

FEEDING RECOMMENDATION: (Juvenile animals) For chinchillas younger than 1 year of age, feed Chinchilla Diet free choice along with fresh hay and limited alfalfa. (Adult animals) For chinchillas older than 1 year of age, feed 1/8 - 1/4 cup of Chinchilla Diet along with free-choice grass hay. Supplement with Chinchilla Booster multivitamin. Remove uneaten food after 24 hours. Always provide fresh, clean drinking water.
STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place (under 72 °F). Refrigeration is highly recommended to retain full nutritional value. Store bag sealed, in an air-tight container free from pests and insects. Do not frequently expose food to a freeze/thaw cycle. If storing for longer than 8 weeks, refrigerate (up to 6 months). If storing for longer than 6 months, freeze (up to 12 months).
