Kualo is an app-operable EBI feeding system for dogs and cats, ideal if you unexpectedly have to work a few hours longer and your pet is used to being fed at a fixed time. You can easily download the Smart Life app from the app store. The app works with both Android and iOS. You do need 2.4 GHz, 5 Ghz is not suitable. Kualo has a capacity of 3.5 litres and works with 20-gram portions. Using the app, you can set the number of portions your pet gets and at what times. The feeding system also has a built-in microphone and speaker, so you can talk to your pet live and also hear ambient sounds from wherever Kualo is. The HD night camera lets you keep an eye on whether your pet has eaten at any time of day, even during the night. Kualo also has a motion detector so you get a message with a photo when your pet has been in view. You can also film and save it to the app. Kualo uses an adapter and batteries (4 x AA alkaline batteries + 5V adapter). If the power fails, the feed system will continue to run temporarily on batteries, so there’s no need to worry about power cuts. Not recommended for battery-only use, due to rapid power consumption. Kualo is only suitable for use with dry feed. You can close the lid securely using the Velcro strip supplied. The feeding system itself is not dishwasher-safe, only the removable feeding bowl. WARNING: the feeding system is not designed for leaving your pet alone for long periods of time!
