Brightwell MicroBacter QuikCycl – 60 ml – Professional Nutrient Source for Fishless Aquarium Cycling
Brightwell MicroBacter QuikCycl is a powerful ammonia-based nutrient solution specially formulated for fishless cycling of new freshwater and marine aquariums. It jumpstarts the nitrogen cycle by feeding beneficial nitrifying bacteria, helping to establish a robust biofilter before any livestock is added. For best results, use with Brightwell MicrōBacter Start XLM or XLF.
NOTE: THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED FOR FISHLESS CYCLING. DO NOT EVER PUT INTO AN AQUARIUM containing LIVE FISH, PLANTS, OR INVERTEBRATES.
Key Features
‣ Speeds Up Fishless Cycling: Provides a clean ammonia source to support bacterial growth during tank cycling
‣ Supports Strong Biofilter Development: Encourages the establishment of nitrifying bacteria beds for long-term water stability
‣ For Freshwater & Marine: Versatile application for both reef tanks and planted aquariums when paired with the correct bacteria
‣ Professional-Grade Formulation: Ideal for aquarists starting new tanks with precision and safety
‣ Use with Bacterial Cultures: Designed for use with Brightwell MicrōBacter Start XLM/XLF or MicrōBacterCLEAN
Ideal For:
Aquarists starting new freshwater or saltwater aquariums without fish, and hobbyists aiming for a controlled, safe cycling process.
How to Use:
Use 4 drops per gallon (or 1 ml per 5 gallons) on Day 1 of cycling. Combine with a high-quality bacterial culture such as MicrōBacter Start XLM or XLF. Test ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate daily. Do not overdose. Wait until ammonia and nitrite levels drop to zero and nitrate reaches 0.25 ppm before adding livestock. Always perform a 25% water change before introducing animals.
